Offering hope for women awaiting detox and addiction recovery by providing a community of practical support and unconditional love.
Our Story
Every journey toward healing begins with a single, difficult step. However, for many women, a dangerous gap exists between the moment they ask for help and the moment a spot opens in a recovery program. Our founder and Executive Director, Christy Parker, witnessed this gap and asked a life-changing question: Where do they wait?
HavenRise was born to answer that question. We believe that the "waiting room" of recovery should not be a place of isolation or fear, but a sanctuary of preparation. Far too often, hope is lost in the days spent waiting for a bed. We step into that space to ensure no woman has to navigate those bridge days alone.
We offer a lifeline for women awaiting detox and addiction recovery by providing a community of practical support and unconditional love. By bridging the gap with compassion and stability, HavenRise ensures that when the door to recovery finally opens, our women walk through it empowered and ready to rise.
Our Approach
At HavenRise, we focus on the critical "bridge" period of the recovery journey. We believe that support should begin the very second a woman decides to seek help, not just when she enters a facility. Our approach is rooted in the transition, providing a stable environment that protects the spark of hope during the wait for detox.
We combine practical advocacy with emotional consistency. By removing the barriers to care and offering a foundation of unconditional love, we transform a time of high risk into a season of preparation. We meet every woman exactly where she is, ensuring she is seen, supported, and ready to take her next step with confidence.

Our Values
-
Christ-Centered Leadership: Jesus is the foundation and leader of the ministry. We do all things unto the Lord with humility, giving Him all the glory.
The Great Commission: We exist to make disciples, allowing the Holy Spirit room to move and providing the opportunity for the cross to work.
Consecrated Service: We are committed to not doing anything the Lord does not want us to do, falling in love with Jesus through our service to others.
-
Inherent Dignity: No one is too far gone and no one is hopeless; therefore, every person possesses inherent value and worth as a child of God.
Holistic Approach: We treat individuals as individuals, recognizing that recovery is not "one size fits all." We aim to fill cracks rather than create new ones.
Autonomy and Agency: We value freewill and autonomy. We remain control-free but not consequence-free, requiring clients to have "skin in the game" and a willingness to let people speak into their lives.
Restoration over Regulation: We choose love over forced religion and prioritize recovery over mere abstinence. Sobriety is a byproduct of dependence on Jesus and restored connection within the community.
-
Compassionate Care: We operate with patient, compassionate kindness and empathy, loving people unconditionally and intentionally—the way Jesus loves them.
Integrity and Transparency: We operate ethically, ensuring clarity in communication and the highest level of care. What we do in private must align with our organizational belief system.
Safety and Protection: We are committed to protecting the vulnerable from harm and guarding the ministry with a "mama bear" resolve.
Collaboration: We value teamwork and networking, recognizing that we cannot meet every need alone. We work collaboratively with external community resources.
-
Family Integration: We believe children and families are an integral part of the recovery process.
Trustworthy Partnership: We maintain a healthy balance between helper and client, fostering trustworthiness in every interaction.
Stewardship: We believe obedience is better than sacrifice. This includes the discipline of tithing, ensuring all money that comes into the ministry is tithed.
Health and Sustainability: We are committed to preventing burnout among our staff, volunteers, and those within our care to ensure a long-term, sober walk in the community.
